Yesterday, we showed you a one minute teaser clip of Ridley Scott's Prometheus, but today, we have the FULL-LENGTH trailer in all its sci-fi glory.

After debuting the preview at WonderCon this weekend, we find out that the movie follows the Prometheus spaceship crew in the year 2085. They eventually "discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race."

WHAAA!!! Holy shiz.

So, even though the movie was originally conceived as a prequel to Alien, it eventually developed into a whole separate story on its own.

And good news! Scott already mentioned that a sequel is on the horizon at yesterday's panel.

As we told you earlier, two men were thrown out of Rick Santorum’s rally Friday evening at the Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights, Illinois, after they stood up and kissed each other during a protest of Santorum's anti-gay policies!

And now we've got video for you!

The protest begins around the 3:35 mark, with the crowd chanting U-S-A, followed by the kiss. They are then seen being escorted out of the building.

You go, gentlemen! Stand up for what you believe in!

The time to rejoice is now, friends … because Showtime has announced the premiere date of the new seasons of Dexter and Homeland. Mark your calendars for Sunday September 30 because that is the day that Dexter returns for season 7 and Homeland returns for season 2. Without question, Dexter has been one of my favorite shows (if not THE favorite) of the past 6 seasons and I am really excited for its return. I fell in love with Homeland almost immediately last year when the show debuted on Showtime and I am really looking forward to picking up the story where it left off on the season 1 finale. SHOWTIME has put together a powerful one-two punch on Sundays this fall with the premieres of its top-rated drama series’ DEXTER and HOMELAND. HOMELAND will shoot on location in Israel and in North Carolina, and DEXTER will continue to shoot in Los Angeles. HOMELAND is a one-hour drama series that tells the story of Carrie Mathison (Golden Globe winner Claire Danes), a CIA officer dealing with bi-polar disorder, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Nicholas Brody (Golden Globe nominee Damian Lewis), a U.S. soldier who had been missing and presumed dead for eight years, was a setup and may be connected to an Al-Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. This is very exciting news. We know that Dexter tends to debut on Showtime with new episodes around the end of September/start of October … but it’s very nice to have a premiere date to look forward to. While Dexter season 6 wasn’t my favorite, I am DYING to see how season 7 will handle the HUGE development that occurred in the final 15 seconds of the season 6 finale (those of you who watch the show know what I’m referring to). As for Homeland, well, I just loved that show from the start. It, too, ended with a cliffhanger of sorts … I’m really looking forward to seeing how things play out in the sophomore season. September 30 is the day, y’all. Let the countdown begin.

Last night I had the extreme pleasure of getting to hang out with our very own real life gossip girl Melissa here in NYC and she, David and I had a blast. We decided to meet for drinks at the Empire Hotel (which serves as the hotel that Chuck Bass owns in Gossip Girl) and just really had a great time chatting, catching up and getting to know one another better. After drinks with Mel, David and I met up with his sister Eden for dinner at 8 1/2 as a sort of farewell to NYC on our last night in town. David and I fly back to LA later this afternoon and … alas, our 2 week engagement trip will come to an end.

Last night was actually the first time that Melissa and I got to hang out in person. We had such a good time … I can’t even tell you. It’s such a shame that we live on opposite coasts because I think we would prolly be the best of friends if were got to hang out more in the same city. David and I just love her so … yeah, we had fun.

Dinner with Eden was nice. It was a very relaxed, quiet way to wind down our long trip. As much fun as we’ve been having over the past few weeks, David and I are both kinda exhausted. It’ll be nice to get back home and chill for a bit. Thank you NYC for another amazing visit … you know we’ll be back soon. LA, we’re comin’ home baby.

Sacha Baron Cohen is the mastermind behind film pranks and antics, but now it seems the conservative academy is not a fan. Sacha is due to be attending this year’s Oscars on Sunday night for Hugo, one of the films up for the best picture award. The creator of Borat is also currently promoting his new film, The Dictator which sees Sacha take on a new character, General Aladeen, a political strongman working to ensure that democracy never comes to his oppressed nation. In typical Sacha style, word got out that he was planning to walk the red carpet in character. The academy, anxious about an actor using the Oscars as a publicity stunt, have informed the studio distributing the new film that this would be a “very bad thing to do.” Could they prevent Sacha, the ultimate prankster and character-driven actor from attending the Oscars? And more interestingly, do you think Sacha will take heed of the Academy’s warning or come in disguise anyway?

I heard yesterday that the academy had pulled Sacha Baron Cohen’s tickets for the Oscars, but an academy spokeswoman has now come out and clarified that no decision has been made as they are trying to learn more about Sacha’s intentions.

I understand the academy’s rule about promotion of new films. I actually think that this is a fairly reasonable principle, but I also think that they are getting a bit over the top here. Sacha Baron Cohen is known for his antics and disguise pranks, it is part of his identity. The pranks are also meant to be taken lightheartedly and in line the humor that it is intended with.

Now that Sacha has been recommended not to come dressed as a Middle Eastern general, I am very excited to see what he ends up doing. My gut feeling is that he will probably not come in character for fear of upsetting the academy, and this just goes to show that Sacha himself has diluted and calmed down his antics and pranks as he has adapted his style to the mainstream. I actually would love for him to walk the red carpet with his beard and Aladeen get-up! It is very clever PR has had created regardless of whether he comes dressed in character or not..

Will the studio be able to control Sacha with the academy’s threat, and do you think they should be doing that in the first place?

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes Crazy In Love Preview

Tomorrow night is the fifth episode in this season of The Challenge and it seems like things are starting to get heated. Johnny and Camilla have been a strong contender, but after a night of drinking and Camilla trying her hardest to get Johnny’s attention, it seems like they may be reaching a breaking point in their honeymoon phase. The teams compete in a battle of “Ship Wrecked” as they attempt to work together to use their strength and intellect to climb to the top as the power couple. Camilla’s repressed feelings for Johnny erupt in a drunken rampage as she violently and belligerently stumbles through the house. Abram and Cara Maria struggle to find a balance in their relationship, meanwhile sparks continue to fly between Ty and Paula. While we wait for confirmation from the coroner, new reports are insisting Whitney Houston died from a cocktail of Valium, Xanax, and alcohol.

But the report can determine which drug mostly contributed to her untimely death.

An inside source says:

Whitney had taken Valium, Xanax, and alcohol, which led to her death. The coroner is waiting on final toxicology results to determine which one of the three was the major contributing factor of her demise.

The coroner will be closely examining Whitney's blood alcohol content at the time she died as well. The sedatives and alcohol will almost certainly be the cause of death, and not drowning.

Her heart stopped beating because her respiratory system was suppressed because of the anti-anxiety meds, and combined with the booze it probably happened very quickly before she was found partially submerged in the bathtub.

Wow...

Hollywood needs to take a mandatory class on the dangers of mixing prescription meds!!!

Neighbors complained about the noise level and called the police at around 4:30 AM.

Sources say that Cory and friends were extremely nice to the officers and ended the party immediately - but not before cops gave Cory's roommate a ticket for the loud music.

Whoops!

Pretty inconsiderate to have a party until almost 5 AM, but at least they were nice enough to shut off the music.

Who knew Cory was such a party animal?! Not us!

I wasn’t sure how tonight’s Michael Jackson episode would fare, was it going to be a huge disappointment? Absolutely not. The kids did a great job of honoring the King of Pop, and the one hour episode was jam packed with song and dance. Without further ado, here’s tonight’s recap. Last night David and I were invited by our good friend Gary to a script reading at the Hudson Theater for a new TV show starring comedienne Judy Gold. The show, which hopefully will be on the air as soon as this coming Fall, is loosely based on Judy‘s brilliant comedy and is focused on her personal homelife — which includes her two sons, her current girlfriend and her former girlfriend (and mother of her children). Throw in some whacky neighbors and a guest appearance by Bette Midler and you have Understanding Judyism.

Last night’s reading was a way for the producers to gage audience response to the pilot script. I mean, c’mon … Judy Gold? I’m shocked the woman hasn’t been given her own TV show by now. I’ve been a fan of hers for many years and I am very excited that she is working on her own show. The script reading last night featured actors reading different characters … among them, Friends actress Maggie Wheeler (who played OH MY GAWD Janice), Mackenzie Aladjem, Monica Horan, Michael Kleeman, John Lehr, Meredith Scott Lynn, Robert Morton, John Park, Mindy Sterling and of course Judy Gold. The jokes were great and the characters are fun but what I love most is that the show will focus on Judy‘s personal life. Judy is a very out and proud woman and she wants her show to feature her family — as crazed as it may be at times — alongside other TV families. I am really excited for the success of this show … and I’m really hoping Understanding Judyism will make it to air soon. David and I had a great time last night. I hope all y’all will be able to see just how good this show is WHEN it makes its television debut.

Tonight … we will be making our way to Tam and Robs for our rescheduled Human Centipede 2: The Full Sequence screening. As you may recall, we had to abort our last attempt at watching the film due to varying circumstances … but tonight will be the night! Not a bad way to start the weekend, eh?

Of that latter, Matt Boner opened up to Paper Magazine about what audiences can expect from him in the role of a stripper and reveals who has the most talent taking it all off!

On being arrested as a Texas teen:

A bunch of friends of mine and I decided after we graduated high school we would just go visit the high school and leave some posters and signs up that expressed how we felt about certain faculty members...They were just incredibly offensive, juvenile things that only an 18-year-old could come up with. We were busted and I actually got away but I came back to make sure my friends were alright and then I sort of turned myself in. [The posters had] ... drawings. Elaborate, elaborate drawings [on them]...Let's not go there.

On filming Magic Mike:

Get ready, Gossipers! Steadily approaching is the milestone 100th episode of Gossip Girl. For the occasion, there are some MAJOR things planned, like Blair Waldorf's wedding and apparently, this elaborate musical dream sequence. Fans of the show know that executive Josh Safran step outside the Upper East Side into fantasy every once and awhile, usually with Blair living out an Audrey Hepburn movie. While Leighton Meester does look ready for Breakfast at Tiffanys, it's Blake Lively that's got everyone's attention, dressed to perfection as Marilyn Monroe from her infamous Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend number.

Oh, and let's not forget about Dapper Dan and the rest of the boys! So handsome in their suits and sashes! So, how did this all come about? According to Josh, this number has been in the works since he started the show! He explains:

"We just filmed the scene the other day. It's crazy. I wrote it, and it's something I've wanted to do since Season 1. I'm very proud of that moment, and when you see it, you'll know why. It's something we've never done before. From Season 1, I said, 'I want to do this.' But it just wasn't the right time. I've been pushing it for five years, and it finally happened. I can't tell you what it is, but it's the best thing we've ever done. Everyone was so excited, and showed up to play in such a major way. They made it even more than my dreams."

WOW! Way to hype it up just a smidge!

Now, we're liking what we see here for several reasons. First, this might be the first time in a looooong time that the original kids have all been together in the same place at the same time. Granted, it's a dream, but what a way to get the whole gang back together. Second, if you check out the gallery (below) you can see a very telling picture of Serena reaching out for Dan as he makes his way towards Blair. After what we saw from this week's episode, we're thinking Serena might be ready to start things up again with Dan. So...this might actually be Serena's dream! Fun!

But...but...but... we're still holding out for Dair! What about DAIR?! Grr! Frustration station!

Word is out that Snoop Dogg is launching his own tobacco cigar line called, Executive Branch. I have to be honest when I first heard this news, I was pretty surprised. I haven’t heard of any celebs or stars putting their name to a tobacco product in YEARS. Smoking might still be as popular as ever but branding, marketing and sponsorship of tobacco has undergone some pretty massive changes over the last few years. This is certainly an interesting one…

Billboard announced yesterday that Snoop will be unveiling his cigar brand, which he says is made with “premium tobacco from the Dominican Republic,” at this year’s Coachella Festival where he will be performing. The first product released will be the Executive Branch Cigarillos. The information we have now is that the cigarillos will be sold for 99 cents a pouch, with two cigars in each package.

“Throughout my career I have been lucky enough to travel the world and try all different types of tobacco products. During my travels throughout South America and the Caribbean, I was fortunate to encounter this tobacco company, Executive Branch and was so impressed by their commitment to quality [far superior than all others], I knew I had to bring them to the States for all my fans to enjoy,” Snoop Dogg says in a press release. “Throughout 2012, we plan on releasing new styles and flavors, in which I will be working with their team to make sure all products are up to Snoop Dogg standards.”

Hmm… I’m not quite sure what to make of all of this. It just feels very strange to me. I am not naive to think that cigars and cigarettes are not still very popular, and I do know that marketing products with a celebrity is incredibly lucrative on the whole, but this just seems bizarre to me. I mean even TV shows don’t really show people smoking anymore… I think celebrities endorsing smoking is a strange phenomenon, but this goes even further because Snoop Dogg actually will have his own brand of cigars. What do you think of this??
