Geeze Louise, get a room you two! It is quite clear that these two are really LOVING the honeymoon phase of their new relationship. We've been hearing rumblings about four of the ladies leaving and even cast member Sonja Morgan confirmed it herself. But now Bravo has made the official announcement that Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon, and Cindy Barshop will NOT be returning to Season 5.

A spokesperson for the network announced:

"Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and LuAnn DeLesseps will be returning for season 5 of The Real Housewives of New York City. We've had a fabulous run with all the ladies and appreciate them sharing their lives with our viewers. It is a friendly departure among the other ladies and we continue to have on-going discussions with them."

So, what do the fired ladies think? Alex McCord said:

"Of course Simon and I are sad not to continue with RHONY but it's a friendly decision and discussions with Bravo are ongoing for other projects."

Meanwhile Jill's rep made a statement:

"Jill is humbled by the extraordinary amount of media interest in her response and looks forward to personally opening up about all of this very soon and announcing some exciting new projects."

To be quite honest, we say good riddance. Between Kelly's delusional craziness and rude behavior and Jill's cattiness, we were already completely over it.

Just give Sonja her own spin-off already! She's the only one we care about anyway!

Long Beach-born rapper Nathaniel Hale, better known as Nate Dogg, is dead at 41 - his family announced Tuesday night.

The cause of death is not known at this time. However, Nate had suffered two strokes, one in 2007 and another in 2008.

As you can see, in the box is a DVD of the first 3 eps of season 2, a V baby rattle and a gummy rat for eating. Those of you familiar with the original V series from the 80′s know where the show is going. But there are enough changes in this new version of V that we can’t really be sure what is gonna happen. As you may recall, season 1 ended after Anna‘s baby eggs were incinerated … and red clouds covered the skies of Earth. Season 2 picks up from there and the action gets going really quickly. Here is our first look at the official promo poster for the cast of V season 2:

As you can see, all of our fave familiar faces are in there. I do NOT want to spoil anything but there is a big reveal at the end of the first ep that literally made me jump up out of my seat and scream with glee. This reveal has been heavily talked about since San Diego Comic Con last Summer but I managed to avoid hearing about it … hence my surprise when I watched the ep. If I missed the spoiler, I’m sure many of y’all have too so I won’t spoil it for you. Needless to say, if you’re a fan of the original V series then you are going to LOVE what happens in the first ep of season 2 :)

Unfortch, late yesterday afternoon — after I committed to going to the movies with Darion — I got really sick. Flu-like symptoms hit me like a ton of bricks … and then I felt like I was run over by a truck. It knocked me out so bad, I had to cancel on the movie ;( I spent all night in bed … and I’m still not feeling great today. I’m just thankful this didn’t happen when I was in Detroit … still, I’m feelin’ pretty rotten. I’m gonna be in bed all day long as soon as I’m done with today’s work … if you are feeling well, revel in it people! The only think you think about when you’re sick is now you took for granted when you weren’t sick :/

I have safely and happily made my way back home from my frigid and snowy home state of Michigan to the warmer climes of California … and it feels good to be home. Even tho I had a lot of fun in Detroit, I really really REALLY hate the cold and the snow so … yeah, I was itching a bit to get back home. I did manage to bring a bit of my home with me to LA … my mom scrounged up my class rings, yearbooks and other school memorabilia so that I could bring them home with me:

I think I’m finally ready to ask David to go steady with me so … he’ll get to wear my high school class ring if he says yes. I know that many folks have asked for high school photos of me but I just can’t find the strength to embarrass myself like that just yet … maybe some day but, nope, not yet.

So yeah … I’m home again … and for a while ;) Tonight, David and I have tickets to see the Broadway musical Next to Normal which is in production here in LA for a few weeks:

Deadline is reporting that Em has signed on to star in a boxing film being produced by Dreamworks. Eminem‘s new film is titled Southpaw:

reamWorks has made a preemptive acquisition of Southpaw, a pitch for a star vehicle for Eminem (Marshall Mathers) that will be written by Sons of Anarchy creator/exec producer Kurt Sutter. Like in Eminem’s 2002 screen starring debut 8 Mile, Southpaw will be fueled by the struggles that inform Eminem’s music and mirror his life. Eminem will play a fast-rising welterweight boxer who brawls his way to the title, only to see his world crash down around him due to tragedy. The movie is about his fight to reclaim past glory … The film will be produced by Eminem’s Shady Films’ managers and producing partners Paul Rosenberg and Stuart Parr, and Alan and Peter Riche of Riche Productions. The deal comes as Eminem’s comeback album, Recovery, just got 10 Grammy Awards nominations … Sutter will begin writing immediately, and he will complete a draft by February, before he and his Anarchy writers begin to plot the fourth season of the series. “There is a rich story her that references his own experience, and I was honored to be able to continue a relationship that began with 8 Mile,” Snider told me. She’ll steer the project with DreamWorks co-president Mark Sourian.

Well it’s about damn time! I totally understand why Em has not taken on any movie roles in the past 8 years considering all the hardships he’s been thru but it is really great news that he is ready to act again. I loved his performance in 8 Mile and I am really anxious to see if he’s got it inside him to bring the skills again. What do y’all think … are you excited to see Eminem on the big screen again?

With the season two debut of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiering last night, the Housewives of New York are opening up with their thoughts on the tragic suicide of Russell Armstrong.

Kelly Bensimon and Ramona Singer both agree the show isn't to blame for his death, with Ramona expressing:

I think it is very tragic. But I don't think that the reality show is to blame for his unfortunate death. I think he had problems. And it's sad when someone has so many problems, they feel the only way they can eliminate their pain is by taking their life.

And Kelly concurring:

I would never blame it on the show. You don't know what happens behind closed doors. And no one can judge. It's no one's job to do that. A lot of people speculate.

Sonja Morgan and Alex McCord didn't want to say much, though.

Sonja said her heart goes out to Russell's estranged wife Taylor, but that "sometimes being helpful is just staying out of [her] business.

Alex didn't feel comfortable talking a whole lot, either, saying "We did what we did privately. And that's that."

Okay, so not every Housewife wants to open up, but we're glad to know they're all there for Taylor.

Last night, audiences watched The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills come back to television.

The series, which documented two years of Russell Armstrong's life before his tragic suicide, has fought hard to address his situation in the most respectful way.

Producers also wanted to make sure audiences know they weren't going to beat around the bush, either. Instead of pretending as if nothing happened, the season opened with the cast (minus widow Taylor) discussing his death and the importance of being there for Taylor (watch above).

As for Taylor, she may not have been present during the cast discussion, but as the episode rewound into the past, it showed her discussing the intense psycho-therapy sessions she and Russell participated in.

She exclaimed being sick of herself because she was so "knee-deep" in counseling, as Lisa Vanderpump's husband spoke up with, "If I had to go to see a therapist to make my marriage better, I would feel weak."

....

We personally believe counseling can help marriages. It's all about communication and discovering the root of your problems through question and answer. There's nothing weak about pulling yourself up for air! Nothing weak at all.
