Last night David and I were invited by our good friend Gary to a script reading at the Hudson Theater for a new TV show starring comedienne Judy Gold. The show, which hopefully will be on the air as soon as this coming Fall, is loosely based on Judy‘s brilliant comedy and is focused on her personal homelife — which includes her two sons, her current girlfriend and her former girlfriend (and mother of her children). Throw in some whacky neighbors and a guest appearance by Bette Midler and you have Understanding Judyism.

Last night’s reading was a way for the producers to gage audience response to the pilot script. I mean, c’mon … Judy Gold? I’m shocked the woman hasn’t been given her own TV show by now. I’ve been a fan of hers for many years and I am very excited that she is working on her own show. The script reading last night featured actors reading different characters … among them, Friends actress Maggie Wheeler (who played OH MY GAWD Janice), Mackenzie Aladjem, Monica Horan, Michael Kleeman, John Lehr, Meredith Scott Lynn, Robert Morton, John Park, Mindy Sterling and of course Judy Gold. The jokes were great and the characters are fun but what I love most is that the show will focus on Judy‘s personal life. Judy is a very out and proud woman and she wants her show to feature her family — as crazed as it may be at times — alongside other TV families. I am really excited for the success of this show … and I’m really hoping Understanding Judyism will make it to air soon. David and I had a great time last night. I hope all y’all will be able to see just how good this show is WHEN it makes its television debut.

Tonight … we will be making our way to Tam and Robs for our rescheduled Human Centipede 2: The Full Sequence screening. As you may recall, we had to abort our last attempt at watching the film due to varying circumstances … but tonight will be the night! Not a bad way to start the weekend, eh?

Matt Bomer is all about the interviews right now, promoting everything from his show White Collar to his highly-anticipated movie, Magic Mike. Of that latter, Matt Boner opened up to Paper Magazine about what audiences can expect from him in the role of a stripper and reveals who has the most talent taking it all off!

Here are some HIGHlights from the interview:

On being arrested as a Texas teen:

A bunch of friends of mine and I decided after we graduated high school we would just go visit the high school and leave some posters and signs up that expressed how we felt about certain faculty members...They were just incredibly offensive, juvenile things that only an 18-year-old could come up with. We were busted and I actually got away but I came back to make sure my friends were alright and then I sort of turned myself in. [The posters had] ... drawings. Elaborate, elaborate drawings [on them]...Let's not go there.

On filming Magic Mike:

It was terrifying and exciting and enervating and intimidating. All those things.

On who was a better dancer, him or Channing Tatum:

Channing by far! Channing's dancing in this movie is, I mean, it defies the laws of physics! It's insane. I can't wait for people to see it. They're just gonna freak out. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen

You can't beat yourself up about it, Matt! Channing has years and years of real life experience under his G-string. We're sure if you had more time to practice, you would've felt more at his level. Hey, here's an idea! Anytime you want to freshen up on your moves, just give us a call and we'll invite you over. You can perform for us!

Get ready, Gossipers! Steadily approaching is the milestone 100th episode of Gossip Girl. For the occasion, there are some MAJOR things planned, like Blair Waldorf's wedding and apparently, this elaborate musical dream sequence. Fans of the show know that executive Josh Safran step outside the Upper East Side into fantasy every once and awhile, usually with Blair living out an Audrey Hepburn movie. While Leighton Meester does look ready for Breakfast at Tiffanys, it's Blake Lively that's got everyone's attention, dressed to perfection as Marilyn Monroe from her infamous Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend number.

Oh, and let's not forget about Dapper Dan and the rest of the boys! So handsome in their suits and sashes! So, how did this all come about? According to Josh, this number has been in the works since he started the show! He explains:

"We just filmed the scene the other day. It's crazy. I wrote it, and it's something I've wanted to do since Season 1. I'm very proud of that moment, and when you see it, you'll know why. It's something we've never done before. From Season 1, I said, 'I want to do this.' But it just wasn't the right time. I've been pushing it for five years, and it finally happened. I can't tell you what it is, but it's the best thing we've ever done. Everyone was so excited, and showed up to play in such a major way. They made it even more than my dreams."

WOW! Way to hype it up just a smidge!

Now, we're liking what we see here for several reasons. First, this might be the first time in a looooong time that the original kids have all been together in the same place at the same time. Granted, it's a dream, but what a way to get the whole gang back together. Second, if you check out the gallery (below) you can see a very telling picture of Serena reaching out for Dan as he makes his way towards Blair. After what we saw from this week's episode, we're thinking Serena might be ready to start things up again with Dan. So...this might actually be Serena's dream! Fun!

But...but...but... we're still holding out for Dair! What about DAIR?! Grr! Frustration station!
